I'm a Hialeah Cop who lives in Sunswept.
A little over a month ago a couple of juv. pricks sliced open the roof of my sister in law's brand new Honda and stole the seats. They were stopped for a tag light out with the seats in the car. A confession was obtained in short order leading to several arrests.
Two weeks later my 4 month old boat was stolen. It was dragged around the corner where the perps were trying to cut the locks off. A patrol officer who was cruising the area forced them to abandon the boat and the stolen truck. I was happy, to say the least, to get my property back unharmed. We appreciate the proactive work during the midnight shift. Thanks again! Citizen commendations, for what they're worth, are forthcoming.
