Is incompetence a requirement to be a City of Venice official? This "Investigation" should have been stopped by the Chief. Civil damages will probably follow.

The Chief had plenty of time to avoid this one. She the City of Venice should get their check books out. As for Lt. Rose, he deserves to be the subject of a real internal investigation. When it is over, he should be decertified and sued personally for his behavior.

Sue the crap out of that spineless LT.
