Are you guys currenlty accepting application for certfied police officers?

I hear you might have received a grant to hire nine officers. any truth to that? If these cops get hired will they have to worry about losing their jobs when the grant expires? Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Stay safe!!

That hiring has already taken place. The budget was adjusted to absorb the cost of the new officers once the grant expires. I think we are still hiring a few officers right now. Call 305-688-2000 and ask for human resources. They can tell you for sure. Good luck!

Closing date for current recruitment is February 01, 2010. Anyone know if applications postmarked Feb 1 will be accepted? or does the application need to be at Human resources feb 1?

No you better turn it in person, mailing it on the first isnt going to work I tried that in Dec when I applied at a palm beach agency and they rejected the application because it gets stamped when you turn it in. I applied on thursday there was allot of people applying so the chances to get on are slim if that means anything.
