Fire/Police Services

Could anyone tell me if you all are a public safety agency. I know there is a fire engine, who might be in charge and how many firefighter/paramedics are there? As for police, any dive/rescue team? Any and all help information would be great. I have a buddy coming down from Maine and is interested.
