BCSO as an agency

Considering a move to the coast. What is the climate at BCSO? Does the sheriff back the guys? What is the pursuit policy and how far out of the county can you take your cars.

I wouldnt let my dog work for this agency anymore!
The "sheriff" is a douche bag to the nth degree, cares nothing for his troops,is at impasse with soon to be all 3 unions, claims he doesnt know anything....a real moron!
The man has taken a once proud and excellent agency, and has pretty much turned everyone against him, save for a few bootlickers..and even those probably despise him in private life!
The morale here is at the lowest ever, and seems like it gets worse every tick of the clock.
As far as new hires, the dummy cant even keep the ones he has hired on the job, layoffs and such....and with the county tax shortfall of somewhere in the neighborhood of 170 million this year...looks like more cuts and layoffs...and good ol' AL will bend over and let the CC give it to him again!
So honestly check with Palm Beach County...way better leader...a real leader...goood to his Deputies!
