Don't forget that Parsons was also on scene. I'm not quite sure who was on scene first, but it really doesn't matter. Both of these guys are heroes. Having to give a lifeless child cpr, revive them in your wet clothes because you jumped in to save them, and then go back to work is extraordinary police work.
Thanks to the media, it's too bad that Michael Jackson's funeral or the hot weather took their spotlight away, when the majority of the public would like to hear this first.
I personally could care less if they were the second, third or the fourth story on the news since I have tivo to fast forward through the other b.s. stories.
You guys are awesome, and I personally know what it's like to give cpr to a child's limp and lifeless body. Those pictures forever trapped in your heads will cause nightmares for years to come. Although the media has already placed this story last on their list, your brothers and sisters in blue will never forget what you guys accomplished the other day.
