take home pay

I'm interested in employment with your agency. However, I've been with my PD for approximately 10 years in Palm Beach County. Can anyone tell me what the approximate "take home" pay would be. The city I work for the family insurance premiums and retirement contributions are huge. I'm just curious how much of a pay cut I would have to take if any at all?

I don't know about the take home pay but I do know that you do not have to pay into the retirement since it's FRS. I know the family insurance rates would be alot cheaper also if you currently work for a smaller municipal pd. Job satisfaction would be alot better i bet.
