Sgt, Baxley is out the door.I think our sheriff is really exercising out with the old and in with the new!!! :mrgreen:

I do not trust Nugent as far as I can throw his skinny self. Baxley has had his fair share of chances.
Can we make a list of all the old that need to go and can we get some new that don't have ties to the old?

What happen with him?

First of all, Sgt Baxley is a good man. It is unfortunate that he was pushed into retirement. Baxley always stood up for his guys and if he did not agree with upper management he let them know it ,and would not agree just to protect himself. It would be nice if people did not hide behind a false name when they have something to say. Show a little respect for the man who took a beating and fought for his squad, and for what he believed was the right thing.

I just got hired in 2003 when he was Lt. there.I remember him even buying paint with his own money and getting deputies to paint D-2 with him on there own time.(Company men I guess heehee)Thats was weird.I was in fto but asked myself,"why are deputies painting county property and paying for materials for a county owned entity".This goes with the other comments on this board where the immaturity and lack of a life come in.Stay safe and lesson learned. :o
