Subjects who have been arrested and gang subjects have been using the popular sites such as Myspace and Face book to stalk and target LEO's and thier wives and Husbands and kids..

HEADS up think twice about putting your picture and info out there.

If you are a cop, especially a narc or detective and you have a personal facebook or myspace account then you are asking for big trouble. I know for a fact defense attorney's, IA, badguys, etc look at these constantly. Even if you have your profile set as private, all it takes is a subpoena to get into it. Dont think that some attorney or IA cant see what your up to. I work on a major drug task force and we subpoena facebook, myspace, email etc. all the time. This stuff can be seen and used against you.

If you work a COPS unit or your an SRO or some community relations type officer I think a departmental facebook account would be a great tool to communicate with the public.
