A Lee County Deputy is out of a job after an internal investigation revealed she had been sending notes and giving candy to an inmate.
The Sheriff's Office says Deputy Fay St. Rose was writing religious and personal messages on paper towels and gave them to the inmate by hiding them in his legal material.
She allegedly hid food in the documents and even gave him her cell phone number.
St. Rose had worked for the agency since 2002.
