LEE COUNTY: A Lee County Sheriff's Office employee was fired for lying to a captain.
According to an internal investigations report, the records assistant was supposed to email her boss about inmate workers, but never did.
When confronted, the sheriff's office says she lied and gave them a copy of a fake email.
Patricia Grega was fired.
Grega had been with the department since 2001.
