View Full Version : Poor showing by Miramar Police Last Night

04-24-2009, 10:52 AM
My My My, oh where do I start. With regards to the murder scene last night in our beloved community. I have been saying for years that our elected board of Silver Lakes Officials should be the first to call when a major crime happens in Silver Lakes. That way we can quickly respond and determine what services are needed and protect the integrity of our community. Last night I was appalled by the behaviour of the Miramar police. OH MY GOD, we have trampled grass, cars double parked on the street, so many violations of the Silver Lakes covenants I could just not keep count. I have been in contat with our very own Mr. Savanko, I know he will look into this and find out just who trampled our precious Silver Lakes grass. These perpetraters will be sought out and dealt with harshly. After all an elected Silver Lakes Board member carries the same clout as a state Senator and there will have to be answers given as to the actions of the Miramar police dept.

Are you kidding me? Someone was shot and another murdered and we caught the guy. Your complaing about your grass? Your s*** will grow back, I promise. I'm glad to see that is your main concern. Oh and if a vehicle is parked close to the scene and double parked even to block the scene from noisy citizens on well. I guess if you get shot I will circle the area to find visitor parking and I will only walk on the streets and sidewalk to get to you. I'm sure you will be really concerned about you grass then right?

This is why we want to be the first point of contact for any major calls in our community. When we get the call we will respond and assess the situation then advise you how many cars to send. This was the problem I observed as many police cars were double parked and also parked on the grass. I do have all the car numbers that were in violation and I am working with Mr. Savanko as to see how we can come up with a solution to this problem. Our main concern is home values and keeping that " curb appeal" that Silver Lakes is famous for. I am working out a response plan and will be giving all you guys a presentation on how to respond to a call in the Silver lakes communities.

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take for the security guard to respond and notify police? Granted, this guy was caught even with a time delay, but any other crime in progress may be a problem with your security. How, you ask? Well they receive your call for assistance. They determine if it requires the Police dept., and call '911' if necessary. That delay is why these guys will get away in the future. You can thank your H.O.A. members for that.

Right, next time I will call you first before we respond and make sure to get permission to go arrest someone who just commited a major offense, including murder. Then I will wait until you talk to the subject to assess the situation and if you are still able to at that point you go ahead and call back and let me know if you would like me to respond. You go ahead and give me that number so I can store it. I'm sure we will get to that presentation of yours when we find a chance :snicker: .

We are elected officials and should be treated as such. It is a thankless job but not anyone can do it. You have to be a go-getter and have knowlegde of rules and regulations. Silver Lakes is one of the nations finest planned communities. If you dont belive me just look at the Romantrick list of planned communities and Silver lakes is consistantly in the top 10% in all categories. We, as elected officials, try very hard to keep the asthetics of Silver lakes in good order. When we have police cars running hap-hazzard through our community it causes trampled grass and marked curbs. Do you know how many man hours it takes to repaint curbs because of some careless police officer chose to drive over them instead of waiting his turn in traffic. Patience is a virtue and you police need to practice it, it will do you all a world of good. We will be bringing up a solution that if a major call is in the communities of Silver Lakes we need you all to muster at the entrance and then will be directed to enter in a two by two fashion and park no less than one foot away from the grassy areas. Please use the walkways when entering a specific home and please observe the 15 mph speed limit too. We will let you know who your contact person will be so the plan can be implemented. We feel we can work hand in hand with the police in order to maitain security and control of our communities. For the time being we need you all to fill out an incident report as to why you entered the community and the exact location where the police car was parked and for how long. We certainly dont want a replay of what happened the other night.

Mr elected official, let me explain something since apparently no one has put you in your place. If I respond to a call at your shhhitty community and you stand in my way I will arrest you for ostruction of justice. Read the statue 843.02 and you might learn something. Complaint all you like but this is not a threat I will arrest you next time you cross the line. Learn to appreciate the work that will do for crappy people as yourself. Apparently you have been pushed around all your life and now you think you are in power. Ridiculous.

Ridiculous.Sorry but you have it all backwards, If I decide to let you on my property, (Silver Lakes) then I will expect you to check in with me first to see what and where you are allwoed to go and where you should be parking your cars, now everyone remember, no more than two cars at a time in any community and no parking on the grass. You got it? I hope so.

We will be having our board meeting the end of next week and at this meeting certain guidelines pertaining to miramar police responding to calls in Silver Lakes communities. I wont go into detail at this time but the new rules involve how many cruisers are allowed at a time, the time you are alowed on a call and the type of questioning you can ask our residents. If any officer is found to be in violation of these rules we will have our security respond and escort you off our premises and you will be given a warning. Any officer working the area of silver lakes will need to keep a log and explain why they entered and for what reason. The logs need to be turned into the director so we can mantain our master file. As you know when you officers are on Silver Lakes property our security is in charge and will be directing you as to how to handle the call. If you have any questions or problems or it is something you cant handle you can get advise from our security. Have a nice day.

I can see that this statement was made by yet another worthless member of rank in the H.O.A. of Silverlakes.
To whom it may concern (Mr., Mrs. or Ms.),
Create as many bi-laws or regulations you want. When it comes to upholding the law, preserving life, or property, we will send as many cars and Officers as we want, for as long as it takes to make you, your neighbors, and your community safe!!!! If you don't let us in immediately, not only can we arrest you on the spot, but we can also smash through any blockade in our way.
If you want to allow one or two Officers to respond to a burglary in progress or a murder, fine. I'll bring a sandwich to eat next time while I block the entry/exit points for any resident or guest within your tiny little world. That includes every single exit/entry point of your development, and all neighboring developments.
YOU TURD!!! I can't believe you would allow the safety of your constituents be overtaken by street thugs, and human slime. Ultimately you have given them the upper hand.
As a Silverlake resident, thanks. Your megalomaniac term will be short lived.
