MDPD hiring

I applied 2 weeks ago in the mdpd website...today I checked the status of my application and it says "interview" under disposition....anyone knows what does it mean?

I recently received by final approval letter, 14 months after the initial application. You'll have to take the CJ-Bat, go to Orientation, take the poly, 2 psychs, a background, and the medical. Good luck, be patient, but check in to verify your status once in a while

In the meantime, apply every where else that you can. Don't keep your mind set on one place. They have thousands of applicants. They do not care about how well qualified you may or may not be.

Once you get your foot in the law enforcement door it becomes much easier to transfer to another department. I say this because that's exactly what I did nine years ago.

I noticed that MDPD pulled my credit report about a week ago.

What is the next step?

I am 2 years into process.

that one guy sounds like a city of miami officer who didn't make with us...

I was talking to my friend last night who is in the process like I am
but she is 3 years into the process. She states that her BI
informed her that the next class is delayed maybe to November
Due to budget.
Another question
How is the Academy?
Is is as bad as they say in orientation (the day we 1st met our BI's)?

If you are afraid of the academy the streets will make you shizat your pants...seek another job before you get someone or yourself hurt.

I'm not afraid. I just want to know if it's like that.
I want to know what I'm getting into.

MEANS YOU WILL A CJBAT TEST SOON. GOOD LUCK...I TOOK IT LAST MONTH AND PASSED. STUDY...BUY THE GUIDE!!!

I highly suggest that any new recruits receive some groundfighting training prior to getting hired. The FDLE DT program is a joke

Just wondering, I just filled out my application online this afternoon. Do you think I could pick up my uniforms by next week or does the process take alittle longer?
