I heard that he pulled the IA file of one of the guys that put in for the K-9 position, and got his a** chewed by P-1. Funny how he hasn't been to work since that day. Rumour mill also has it that the aforementioned Officer went to the Chief with this issue, and was basically told that any Specialized Unit position that you want is yours; if you don't pursue the issue. Unbelieveable!!!!

Chip didn’t pull any files. All of the applicants files were reviewed by the k9 unit which is a part of the process. Nobody went to the chief and noone was told they could have “any position”. Concerns of certain “disappointed” applicants were addressed in meetings and were resolved. As far as an “a**” chewing goes, senior staff probably jumped the gun and made assumptions again without checking the facts first. Chip has been out due to a surgery. Bottom line is the right man was picked for the job and whoever posted this is just proving that.

check your info, better yet, ask the guy affected, get the story from his mouth........... as for the new K9 guy.............WHAT A JOKE!
