WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- Officer Jonathan Kelly has been arrested and faces charges of grand theft and theft of a credit card.
Kelly is an officer with the Palm Beach County School Board according to information provided by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
In January, the Boca Raton Police investigated items that were stolen from a car. Police arrested Daniel Elisha in connection with the theft.
When police interrogated Elisha he stated that he had obtained numerous items from an individual he identified as Officer Jonathan Kelly according to
Kelly's probable cause affidavit.
Elisha told investigators investigators that Kelly steals items during residential and vehicle burglaries and then subsequently provides these items to him and it is his job to list the items for sale via Craigslist and EBay.
Kelly was booked into the Palm Beach County jail and then released on a $21,000 surety bond.
