Well Barry is old school, He's a tough fella. He will bounce back. Two points real quick. had this been civilian, they would probably be dead. Had this been anyone else in a The chevys...they would be dead. Great job Barry, keeping calm in a very chaotic circumstance.

This was the first time to my knowledge in my career that a suspect actually tried to kill me although I know he was trying to kill the badge and what it represents and not me personally. But he's no longer with us and I'm resting at home in my recliner ... I WON!

Thanks to all those who called, visited, and sent cards and well wishes during my stay in the hospital and during my recovery time at home! I really appreciate it and it will not be forgotten by myself and my family!
