You and your family have been in our prayers for the last seven months. We will continue to pray for all of you.

You have been a great mentor, friend and police officer. I want to thank you for your service. I am certain you have touched the lives of countless people through your public service which began back in the early seventies.

Thank you for inviting me into your home and unselfishly sharing your wisdom with me during our last conversation together. It really meant a lot to me and I will not forget the advice you gave me.

We (at the PD) are going to miss your mannerisms, jokes and above all, the stories. You had a wonderful way of telling your stories.

I am sure if there is a foot beat in heaven, you are walking it right now, because you love being a cop.
