Patrick McGoohan, star of the old TV series The Prisoner, has died at age 80.

Here's an interesting piece of trivia. He was offered the original role of James Bond in the 007 movies but turned it down because he didn't want his daughters to see him in sexually explicit movie scenes.

It was a good show, but he was British and wasn't really called a Secret Service agent, just a Secret Agent. He was a good actor.

it was always a pleasure to watch him act. One of his best roles was his last as the king in Braveheart. He was really convincing.
