OAG vs DIF

Okay... so whats the real story on combining OAG and DIF as one unit... will it ever happen ? Details people ? DIF is funded by the insurance people so there should be no shortage on funds... but OAG starts at a higher salary.. and is more shall we say "conservative" as to investigations and comp time.

Not sure what you are talking about. We have not heard any talk about merging DIF and OAG. Big funding problem with that one. The MFCU is funded by a Federal Grant ( 25% State and 75% Federal), as such the MFCU can only work Medicaid fraud.

It is definetly on the table as the DIF boss in Tallahassee sent out a letter to all DIF employees last month.. that topic was being discussed . Unknown why OAG bosses have not made the troops aware. I will see if I can get a copy of the letter and post it.

I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds like the Colonel and Lt. Colonel are trying to expand their domain. Why doesn't DIF have its own page?
