Why no names?

The reason most users choose to post without using their names or any other way to identify themselves is simple. They want to be able to be honest without retribution. They want to be able to ask those hard to answer questions without being labeled a malcontent. Some may see this as being cowardly while others see these forums as an oportunity. I look at our agency and all I see is negative comments. Why? Because there aren't too many happy officers left. We're broke and our command staff won't even acknowledge us. We love what we do, thats why we don't want to give it up. If this forum allows us to blow off steam then why in the hell do some want names? You can bet the ones insisting on names would use them for one purpose. That is to use them for their own gain by throwing those officers posting under the bus. So if you really want names too bad.
