First you need to select an Avatar and have a place to store it for example photobucket.com.
Then when you have it stored online you would do the following:
Log in with your User Name and Password:
Click on "User Control Panel"
Click on the "Profile" Tab
Click on "Edit Avatar"
Paste URL of the location where your Avatar is stored online in the box that says "Link Off Site" (If using photobucket, it will look something like this: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g221/ ... wiggam.gif)
Then click on the "Submit" Button
Your Avatar then should show up on your screen.
If it doesn't look right, you can try adjusting the size in the size boxes. The size must be between 20x20 and 100x100 pixels.
