Nationwide, thousands of blue lights will shine in support of law enforcement during the holidays. The color blue is symbolic of peace and has long been the color associated with Law Enforcement in the United States.
We hope to encourage our community to decorate with at least one blue light this winter, honoring those law enforcement officers who have given their lives in service of the profession. It is also a thanks to those officers who continue to work America's increasingly dangerous streets.
The 1st Annual Project Blue Light Wreath Ceremony at Centennial Park, Fort Myers will be a great
way to honor the local fallen heroes and support their families. If you do
attend, please bring your families to this ceremony and support the
brotherhood of law enforcement.
