Dispatch Supervision???

Isn't a "Supervisor" supposed to supervise their personel?
Why then isn't the FWC supervisor ever seen in the comm center. Every FHP supervisor is on deck and gets paid to be IN the Comm Ctr throughout one full shift every day of their five day work week.
Why is the State paying that person a salary when #1 she's not doing the job consistently and #2 she isn't being supervised to ensure the job is being done?!

Do you really want to be like FHP, most of those guys and gals are admittedly bitter about the job and the leadership. Now it does different troop to troop but I'd be willing to bet that by in large FWC dispatch is going to have higher job satisfaction than FHP.

Sounds like you have a bigger problem with your co-workers not the supervisor. If so why don't you bring the issues up and if they are a serious and you make them sound and the supervisor still doesn't listen go higher in the chain.

Last resort if the sup. is a total waste of oxygen and never does the job, the IG's office might like some evidence of waste/fraud/abuse.

At least that's how I see it.
