Who's leaving?

No names necessary, unless you want to. Just wondering if anyone was leaving or planning to leave in the near future. I know of two from TBROC.

who isn't leaving? try posting on something worthwhile. Is it really a big surprise if people are leaving FDLE. Get used to it b/c the next year will bring a mass exodus

I know it sucks here right now, but tell me where it's better. I get screwed on OT monthly, but other than pay I can't really complain. Eventually the pay will go up if Agents could stick it out. People at my old Dept. still ***** and whine evertime I talk to them and other local officers I work with do the same about their depts. Cops are never happy period! What is the alternative to go back to patrol on mids and 10-65 bs calls? I do not believe half of the posters on here are Agents. Life's too short to be miserable either leave or suck it up for now.

I gotta agree, times are bad now but they will improve. I made good money when I first got her and honestly, I still make good money even though the OT has been cut. FDLE is a great agency but it just needs to find its direction again. As far as SLEOs go, we got the best agency and the best pay. All the guys I worked with at the SO are complaining just like everyone else, so its bad everywhere in this state.

I recently took a job with FDLE as a Law Enforcement Forensic Data Entry Specialists II and realized that since I’m not sworn that my job could be one of the first to go. As a result, I’m seriously thinking about leaving. There’s a position being advertised by the Martin County Urban Safety Council for a mid-level Analytical Data Processor. The pay is about the same and the benefits are comparable. I also heard that the building maintenance supervisor for my region may also be leaving for a job being offered by Bank of America in one of their 18 floor buildings. I’d say from a maintenance stand point, he’ll have his work cut out for him in a building that size. I have a friend over in the toxicological/biochemical lab section that will probably tell me about their situation if I ask. If I find out anything I’ll keep you all posted.
