Whats the plan Stan?

I have spoken to several people and it looks like we have about 12-18 people who are committed to a vote. I brought this to an FOP representative and he advised that unless we have more than 50% it is a useless effort. I cannot contact everyone so make your feelings known. This is as important as any contract vote,do not disregard this effort.

When you see an FOP representative let him know how you feel either for it or against it.
If we are going to do this we need to do it now!!!!!! We need something solid before this Friday.

Why Friday? Why the deadline?

Because we need time to organize the vote and allow for the information to make it around to residents and the media. We have to do it before the city mgr. makes a decision on the chief position. So to get all that in on a time line Friday was set to get a feel for the number of people who support it.
