The 2nd Ride for Ron will be held on November 8th, 2008 at 5pm. This year, the ride will start at Brandon Harley-Davidson/Buell, and proceed into Plant City to the Train Depot. There will be a live band (The Hitmen), food, vendors, and the proceeds will again benefit MADD Hillsborough County. Sgt. Ron Harrison of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office was murdered on August 15th, 2007 as he was leaving a DUI checkpoint in Brandon. Registration can be accomplished by visiting the USFPD website, and clicking on the Ride for Ron logo on the left. Registration fee is the same as last year ($35.00 per bike/passengers free). Please come out and help remember this great man.
