Seminole Police Department Lieutenant Professional Standards/Training: Manages Internal Affairs cases assigned by the Chief of Police. Recommends selection, disciplinary and other personnel decisions; counsels employees and administers discipline as required. Interprets laws, codes, policies and procedures to staff; ensures legality and consistency of application. Knowledge of law enforcement principles, practices and techniques related to patrol, traffic enforcement, crime scene control and investigation, protection of life and property, pursuit, apprehension and transport of suspects. Skill in planning, scheduling, assigning, managing reviewing and elevating the work of sworn and non-sworn staff. Equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in criminal justice, police science, public administration or a field related to the work. Ten years supervisory experience in the police service equivalent to the Lieutenant level or above. Certified CMS Instructor. This decision was very well thought out and the requirements were tailored to suit the person. He knew exactly who he wanted, copied that person's resume and typed "job announcement" at the top. THE FHP TEST IS NOT HARD, JUST ABOUT EVERYONE PASSES. COMMON SENSE QUESTIONS, HE COULD TAKE IT AGAIN. BIG PAY CUT.

Who took care of us three years ago??? The only thing the chief has and will take care of is his self. He's a dolt that should be on the turnpike writing tickets except he's not even qualified to do that. He's a puppet...he knows and we know it. He will do what he's told by the council and that is the ONLY reason he was brought back. Zero police skills, zero admin skills, zero people skills and he will knife you in the back whenever it suits his purpose. Just like his buddy Aaron. Very surprised he's not bak yet. Give it time...he has to get over his little problem at Miami Gardens but he will be back.
