View Full Version : Merge Again

Anyone hearing anything on merging with FHP again. I assume it will come up again this coming legislative session. Or is it a dead topic?

I hope it comes up again. Its a laugh out loud situation that we have 10 different State agencies with crappy communication between agencies.

DOT merge with FHP (or vise versa)
AG and FWC merge with DEP

Please merge agencies to Florida Dept of Public Safety

Having a bunch of State agencies allows for to many f*cked up disorganized agencies. One State agency would be better. It would allow for one slightly less f*cked up and disorganized agency.

You did not paste the entire section. You missed this part:

Immediately certified
• Refused to concur, acceded to request for conference committee

04-08-2011, 09:45 PM
And you might have missed this latest part:
04/07/2011 Senate • In returning messages

Which means: Message
Communication by one house to the other house concerning action taken on a bill. Each bill, and any amendments to it, is transmitted from one house to the other accompanied by a document (Message) that states the action taken on the bill. The term "Messages" is also used to describe the unit of the office of the Secretary of the Senate or the Clerk of the House responsible for transmitting bills to the other house.

They're just cutting a few loose ends and polishing things up, that's all.

I would say they have more than a few loose ends to tie up since the house version has nothing about merger in it and was pretty much a strike everything of the passed senate bill
