Its really cowardly that a bunch of grown men and or woman get on this website and bash each other. Who ever you are posting this BS about LEO GG in this forum should grow a big set of balls and tell him to his face! Quiet frankly all you guys do absolutely nothing on the midnight shift over there in the kingdom of buildings and dorm checks.

Personally, I would be more concerned with you guys losing your jobs than worrying about an LEO and his pregnant wife!

"Nothing" is all relative anyways. Granted, working at FAU, you will not find a huge amount of action, but most of what actually goes on, happens when the majority of all students are here. Ask anyone who actually works at the department and you'll find out the afternoon shift is the busiest out of the three. The officers on afternoons have a higher case load than anyone else simply because they are on that shift.

Working midnights is hard enough having to change your sleep schedule around and get your stuff done when you can. Then add the fact that you have to patrol 2 square miles along with 2-3 more officers and cut the population from 17000 down to about 5000 from afternoons to midnights. Work the weekends, and have even less people. Working at FAU is similar to having 3-4 officers working in your zone at the same time. Given the small amount of people and the amount of officers, you can't expect every officer to be as active as an officer at a municipal department.

When it all comes down to it, if someone comes and does their job and doesn't screw around, there's no point in complaining. If someone comes and is extremely active and has a high case load and arrest rate, then good for them. In all reality, they get paid the same. One might have a better chance of getting new equipment or promotions, but if an officer choses to do his job and go home, then so be it.

Bringing his wife into it is just a low blow and completely unneeded. Sounds like you have some problems yourself.
