I must disagree with your statement. The economy sucks so bad right now that it takes details just to pay the minimal needs such as ... ELECTRIC (Thank you for the cost hike Lakeland Electric). The problem is upper staff and the same senior officers are sucking up all the details. Even 10 year officers are getting "0" in the senior pool.

Staff units making almost a hundred grand a year need to lay of taking the details and let us pay to have a house for our families! Stop trying to heighten your incomes for your last 3 years for retirement and think of the officers beneath you that are GETTING EVICTED!

The union needs to put a stop to this and renegotiate details so officers get 1st stab at them and not the same senior officers hogging them all up. Rank can get whatever is left over. That's a perk of promotion .. just like holidays and weekends off.
