Two officers injured in off-duty motorcycle crash

MIRAMAR - Two off-duty police officers riding their personal motorcycles were injured in an accident Monday afternoon, though authorities don't know how the accident happened.

There were no other vehicles at the scene when paramedics arrived and a police spokesman said it was unclear what the road conditions were like at the time of the accident.

One of the officers was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital and the other one was taken there in an ambulance, said police spokesman Bill Robertson.

Both received non-life threatening injuries and were in good condition, Robertson said.

Thanks for the few that showed up at Memorial last night! MM will be fine but has a long road ahead, say a prayer and keep him in your thoughts.

No $hit! Maybe we should use a little more common sense when off duty then. JB should hammer the at fault rider when he concludes his investigation. This is one of the reasons we get no respect on the road.

No matter what happens, there is always going to be a few a-holes who can talk their anonymous crap about the cops on there. Let them have their fun, cause we know they wouldn't say it to our faces.

Maybe I should hammer your mom when this is all done. Get a life loser. Like you have never done anything bad in your life. Let's just be glad that both officers are ok and leave it at that. These are our brothers in blue, or have you forgotten what that means.
