A Comanche will ride his horse until it goes down. He will build a fire under the horse until it gets up and ride it some more. When it goes down again, he will build a fire under it until it gets up and then ride it some more. This goes on until the horse can no longer get up, Then, the Comanche eats it.

I see the parallel.

And they can't figure out why they keep losing bodies.... 15-18 in the month of August alone.

Given the nature and importance of the mission I'm not sure how management could give relief to the troops unless the number of people they have to protect is reduced. Aren't they protecting people that they are not required to protect by legislation but only because President Bush directed that they should? Maybe this will change under President Obama.

The management style of Headquarters has nothing to do whether we have a President masquerading as a Conservative or a President-Elect who is an avowed Socialist. It has to do with a management style that has been entrenched in the Penthouse since the Halderman-Erlichman era. It is self-perpetuating and will never die as long as the "Blue Flamers" control the asylum.

I agree. I was both pre-and post the Nixon years. The Haldeman/Ehrlichman attitude of having enemies twist in the wind was definitely absorbed by USSS management of the era. And it extends to the present.

It's not enough for management to simply win, they feel they must hurt.

It's sad.

Worfusa2008,

"Blue Flamers" not familiar with this description :?: Humm:?:

Hmmmm: It will be interesting if worfusa explains what "blue flamers" means. As with "the others" when they are asked a question, they consider it a personal attack, and an attempt to curb their 1st amendment rights.

I know in some parts of the country "flamer" refers to homosexuals (as in 'there's a real flamer')and in other parts it refers to ADAM HENRYS (exhaust pipe for the human body ergo, gas ignites).

Blue could refer to homosexuals (as in Blue-Boy magaizine a big time gay publication I think in Florida or California). Or it could mean "Blue" as in adult movies. Or "blue" could mean OLD, as in "blue haired ladies".

As I do not know what worfusa meant by "blue flamers", I can only suspect that MOD166 will look into this matter, as I believe he's making a derog statement against gays and older individuals, which is a VIOLATION OF THE TERMS OF USE. buster1.

In the world of the "Real Police" the term "blue flamer" is used to describe someone who will do anything to get to the top to include, but not limited to, running over the backs of colleagues, demanding ever greater numbers of arrests, character assassination to get a better evaluation, carrying kool-aid for the Boss, etc. . They are disciples of the Comanche School of Management and can be identified by the blue flame of their exhaust as they shoot by on their way to the top. They can usually be found in middle management or not far behind someone who is. Street Humps always get a chuckle when they sometimes flame out and go roaring by to crash and burn. The term was well known in the "old" Secret Service and it was not complimentary.

Buster1, you have too much time on your hands. As thin as your skin seems to be, it's a wonder you don't bleed to death when you sneeze.

Your apology is accepted.

Oh, wow! I wish I had said that. How right you are.

Buster1,

It is apparent that you are wasting your time on this forum. These posters are actually enjoying and prefer posting negative comments about the FAA and USSS management. When you see one negative poster getting "excited" about another's post... "Oh, wow! I wish I had said that. How right you are!"...shows there desire to out do each other with there creative negative posting. Buster1...do you see the parallel...hehehe? Trigger

"Shows there (their) desire"... "with there (their) creative negative posting". Boy Trigger I bet your case reports were a beauty assuming you ever arrested anyone. BTW isn't "Trigger" a horse. But you are right about one thing you both are wasting your time on this forum because you can't bully people into not posting as you do on Oldstar.

Professor,

You are not the first person to make note of my spelling of "there vs their." I hope my error did not keep you from understanding the posting? Will do my best to overcome this unfortunate habit. However, I do make an effort to use spell check when available. You are fortunate that you do not have to use the aid of spell check!

Professor...yes..."Trigger" has been associated with the name of a horse. It is also associated a mechanism that actuates the firing of firearms. It is also associated with the name of a person similar to the names "Tiger or Tigger".

BTW, thanks for recognizing that I was right about my previous posting comment of wasting time on this forum. However, I am not familiar or agree with your comment suggesting that I am or have been a bully to anyone. Are you suggesting that you and others are being "bullied" by posters who take exception to the many created topics posted on this public forum?

Trigger

Trigger, I don't know you and I am not suggesting that you are a bully or attempting to bully anyone posting on this forum. What I am stating as fact is that a number of posters on this forum from FAA (most notable certain BOD members) have bullied members of FAA posting on the Oldstar forum to the extent that the only postings now on Oldstar are those listing employment and info re: Ron Kessler and postings re: health info occasionally. A far cry from the number of posltings several months ago. My point is that these same individuals cannot bully posters off this LEO forum. Anyone is free to post on this forum and should do so. The difference is they can't continually post personal attacks here as they have done on Oldstar without some action from the moderators. Posters are free to take exception of others' postings and indicate so. They are not free to personally attack other posters who take exception to. Got it.

Professor, I see it differently.

I think Roy is back from his suspension from posting on this board, but now instead of being the rider this time he's the horse.

Since dialogue with bluster1 has stopped because of his demonstrated lies, I see no reason to dialogue with Trigger whose lies got him suspended.

We all know what the final product of a horse is --- when it hits the ground it goes " plop."

Sound,

Just a final note....you see a great deal differently! "Suspended"...from a public forum!
With regard to dialog....I AM OUT OF HERE..... ADIOS__!!!!

BTW, "Chuckles".......your first and only posting was well said! I personally see no comparison with LEO and the FAA. I joined FAA when I retired. Like you....was to consumed with work, family, etc. Wish you well with your career....ROY

Roy the words "to consumed" should read "too consumed" meaning much too much. I knowyou don't care about spelling or grammar as you prove time and again in your postings. At least don't allow everyone to think that all former Special Agents fall into this same category. You must have been some report writer. We will miss you - take Trigger with you.
