Next 10-8 time?

What is the reason for leaving a next 10-8 time when you go 10-7? Dispatch has a copy of the schedules, they can figure it out. And, most officers leave the latest time allowed anyways. Also, where in policy does it state you have to leave your next 10-8 time? It doesn't. What will happen if you don't leave it? No where in policy does it mandate it. Does accreditation have to do anything with that?

The new schedule allows for a window to come 10-8. Normally the dispatch center does have a schedule but it probably does not have the schedule your Lt will have with your leave, training, and other issues penciled in.

The only reason we have to keep it is for your stupid lt's that don't know when anybody is coming out. They just call us and ask when so and so will be x8 in order to know who to wake up and send to a call. So why don't you ***** to your lt instead of this worthless message board.
