The Tampa Bay Sentinels are looking for anyone who is interested in playing football for our team for the 2009 season. To be eligible to participate as a player, one must be a:
- Law Enforcement Officer

- Firefighter

- Corrections Officer

- Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic

- Probation/Parole Officer

- or active-duty military in a related public safety career field.

The Sentinels football team is represented by approximately 19 different Tampa Bay area public safety agencies. Anyone interested in playing football with the Sentinels, please email the team at tampabaysentinels@verizon.net.

Our partial game schedule is as follows:
Home game against the Orlando Guardians 3/21/09
Home game against the Atlanta Defenders 5/2/09
Away game against the Dallas Defenders 5/16/09

2 games that are still in the works:
Home game against the DC Generals
Away game against the Charlotte Cobras

We had a 2008 roster of 45 players and a 2009 new player list of 20 new players.

If you blow out your knee playing full contact football, your agency will cover you under Workers Comp right?
