F-DOT Hillsborough

I am in the process at F-DOT MCCO. Can anyone tell me the odds that I may (if hired) get to work were I live or close to it. I live in Hillsborough but I am willing to travel within reason. Are they willing to work with you on this??

HAHA, No one that I Know of. Ive been told that F-DOT is only hiring for Ft Myers, West Palm and Miami that they know of. Can you live in Hillsborough and work in Ft Myers I know its kind of a drive but I currently drive a truck and I do it twice a day from Tampa so I am kind of used to it.

I talked to Sgt. Ward and he helped me with most of my qusetions. But I would still like to know the odds of getting a shot in Hillborough, Polk or Pasco. What is the turn over like?

We were told that they might be a officer coming out of the academy heading to the Tampa Field Office but it seems he want to stay up north. Your best bet is to find this officer and see if you two can switch assignements.
