What's going on in SIU? Why did they lose two good cops? What's the future of the drug unit?

This is not a good idea for a topic. Especially because dopers read this blog.

I'm sure that the dopers that need to know probably already know that the unit has been weakened. This is probably just a "major" way to get more numbers for the tac guys. After all, SIU got the numbers they needed to bolster the election for the sheriff.

they lost Proctor and Futch whom were permanently transferred to CIU...not by their choice, but were told CIU needed help due to an overburden of cases. One great dope cop lost but both will be good investigators...keep your chin up guys...something is in the works for SIU...they may have gotten out just in time.

SIU still has some hard working people there. Hopefully the Sheriff will leave them there and let them do their job. As far as the tack unit, they should stay out of the drug unit's business. As far as the two getting moved to CIU, people don't know the whole story.

They got moved to CIU because more detectives were needed in that area, that's it, and they are still in need of more detectives there.

The TACK unit is responsible for posting all the paperwork to the corkboards around the office.
