This July the 4th should be a day that the consumer sticks it back to Corporate America since oil and monopoly like businesses are raking in the bucks at the expense of the middle class. This is what we should do during the week of July 4th.

1. Make no gasoline purchases that week. Limited travel only.
2. Stay home for the holiday and have a family day at the house.
3. Cancel any flights, reservations or major luxury expenses that holiday
4. Call your vehicle Insurance Company that week and reduce your car insurance policies down to the drop-dead prices or minimum by law
5. Cancel all of your gas credit cards and transfer the balance
7. Everyone should call their credit card company and ask to talk to the Mitigation department and tell them to either cancel your account or you'll be transferring the balance to another credit card. Demand an interest rate of the prime rate only for 6 months to 1-year or tell them you'll only be able to afford to pay ten dollars a month. You're not saying you refuse to pay, but you canonly afford the $10. a month. If everyone does this it will send a shock wave through the corporate greed moochers.
8. Cancel deferred comp deductions. Again the insurance industry gets one in the nose.
9. Stop donating money to the church. If the church gets hit too I can guarantee you that the churches will get our politicians moving. Just tell the preacher its a choice between food for the kids and the montly donation. The religious lobby will go nuts.
10. On July 3rd everyone should flood the market with cancelling their gas credit cards starting at 9:00 am and begin the boycott of buying fuel through the weekend until Monday or when you need it.
11. On July 3rd everyone should flood the market with cancelling or reducing their auto insurance policies at 10:00 am. No more fluff, just the basics by law.
12. On July 3rd everyone should flood the market with cancelling deferred compensation deductions at 9:00 am. You can always start it back up later, but for the month of July a compelling message could be sent to the corporations that are sucking us dry.

We should all prepare to revolt each holiday for the rest of the year. Most of all, we should refuse to shop for Christmas unitl the last five days of the season. United we have the power to send a message that we are really in control. Let's begin this year with an ID4 - Revolt.

Pass this on to as many of your friends and ID4ers as possible.
