PBA

As a resident of Lee County I am trying to keep up with the race for Sheriff. The only source of information I have is Rod’s web page. Mike has not updated his. What is the truth about the PBA?

They are only as strong as the people in the agency they represent. Ask an FMPD person about the PBA, you'll get your answer..............

If they are not that important why would Mike lie about having their endorsement? Why would both candidates want their endorsement?

I don't know why he said it, but the PBA is an ineffectuve entity at the above agency. They do not look out for their officers. Several officers have gone to the FOP due to the HORRIBLE representation by the PBA.

The PBA is a joke, it does nothing for it's members. It does not stick for their members during investigations. The PBA president for FMPD one of the chief's lackies. FOP is the way to go.

if rod shoap wanted pba endorsement, why would he have told all of us, in one of his mandatory yearly meetings that he would fire anyone caught passing pba info around. and did you notice that all the scott supporters pushing pba during shoaps reign, acted like they never heard about it after scott became sheriff. and they got promoted.

PBA sucks. Ask anyone at FMPD.
