If you know anyone who wants to attend a 770 basic recruit academy, but works full time and can't do it during conventional academy hours, a group of former law enforcement officers that for one reason or the other can't get FDLE out-of-state EOT have petitioned a Manatee County area academy to host a 770 training on weekends. We were told it is a go if we can get 15 recruits. We have the 15 now and want to see if there are any other recruits interested in this opportunity. Let me know. Thanks.

MAN!!! That will take forever. 770 hours on weekends only, you will be ready to retire by the time you graduate. EOT for out of state LEO's whom get all the paperwork completed from CJSTC is, or at least was 4 years ago, only 7 days at a "recorded" 12 hours per day.... you know how in service classes are really way shorter than you get credit for after 22 breaks and 90 min lunches. This class was at the St. Pete Allstate Center and was top notch training. They also had an online course to prepare you for the State Exam. The 84 contact hours was just the high liability portion that I think was supposed to be around 110 hours or so.
