Why continue to post new training lieutenant positions when FWC doesn't even have an academy anymore? I know, there is going to be top notch, more intense, in-service training....(redman, simunitions, etc..) and don't forget that you annual PT test is coming up!

So new officers are going to goto local academies?

Yes they are. Then they're supposed to learn all the specifics on FTO.

its been 9 months since the last academy let out...has anyone seen advances in-service training. oh, i forgot, they are into making videos now for regional firearms qualifications. save the money, shut it down, let officer leave for other agencies, dont improve morale, and the legislature is going to combine all the state LEOs.

How about passing policy such as requiring of wearing your issued vests? That seems to be more important than checking paperwork in your inbox!
