Tattoo policy

Hello,
I am looking at applying to your Dept. and was wondering what the policy is for visible tattoos. I am not talking about an obscene (Born to kill type) tattoo but rather a tattoo of your daughter's name or USMC or something along those lines. I know some agencies allow it as long as it is not "offensive or distracting" (PCSO) while others make you get it removed (TPD) and while still others that will allow you to wear long sleeve shirts year round. What is yours?
