Can any of you guys give me some information about the starting pay, including all the additives you get. I know you get something for being certified CV inspectors. Also does anybody know of any positions in the Alachua/Marion area, maybe even Lake City?

As far as our base pay, its all on our webpage. We do get $2,000 per year for being CVSA certified. Although that has been rumored to be ending ( I don't buy it). We also get salary incenetive money which all LEO's are able to get as well as a uniform allowance (not much). Positions in that area of the state are few and far between. You just have to apply and see what happens. It is possible to get one of those areas.
