Hi, I am recently retired as a police captain in Florida. Can anyone advise if th USMS hires part time deputies, or special deputies and what is the procedure for applying?

There are no part time deputy positions. You can get hired as a Court Security Officer. That is a contract position from a private secutity company (Akal) that is contracted by the Marshals Service. Your authority is limited to the building and grounds of the facility. Check with your local Marshals office for more information.
