View Full Version : Shift Differential
I was wondering if you could tell me how many agencies get shift differential as dispatchers. And, if you don't mind, please tell me if the officers/deputies of your agency get the shift differential?
City of Ft Myers pays shift diff - 5p-3a gets 3%
9p-7a gets 5% per their contract
Same for the officers.
No for the LCSO and prety sure no for the Cape (last I heard)
1500-2330 & 2300-0730 shift gets an extra 60 cents and hour. Dayshift gets it only on the weekends.

Pinellas County SO eves get 5% mids 10% for call takers and dispatch.
Lakeland Police - 300+ officers - 40 dispatchers - 12 hour shifts...
No differential.
Ladies and gentlemen,
I only got responses from four agencies.
Could I please beg for a few more responses. I am confident there are more dispatchers than from four agencies here, or am I wrong?
Pinellas Park PD....5% eves, 10% mids.
Plantation Police Department - Rough Sums - Alpha $120; Bravo $0; Charlie $80 - road patrol gets it but almost double the amount
Broward Sheriffs Office does not in dispatch or road :(
