Yes, we've revised our hiring process and the FTO program to accommodate FL certified officers. Certified LEOs will go right into our FTO program in their assigned Region. What is the starting pay?

Low 30's and NO STEP PLAN!! If hired, after five years or so, rookie officers will make the same pay as you.

I would never discourage anybody from pursuing a career thay want. Just be aware, if you leave your agency for FWC they will start you at base salary (currently in the low $30k range) and you will make starting pay for the rest of your career.

Also, last I knew FWC was not giving any extra money for experience.
