Take Home Cars.....And Budget Cuts......

With budget cuts, take home cars should be given Only To those That:

1) Live outside of the city AND respond to calls on a pre-determined basis or regularly like Traffic Homicide. You can quickly check stats for callouts and quickly determine the few (count on one hand) that respond all the time, and the others that are Milking The City.

2) Taken away from ALL STAFF that do nothing more then drive them from home and to work, but maybe the Chief can keep his:) Sworn Supervisors that do nothing more than answer the phone, call out someone, and roll back over and go to sleep should give up their car also and drive Fleet.

3) Given to All officers that Lives In The City for those reasons previously mentioned in other posts........

That's all I'm sayin'

Why dont we give cars to everyone and you get back on the short bus, "In the know". Thats what I love about brotherhoods, you got each others back as long as it is for your benefit. There is enough waste at Clearwater to achieve budget cuts. Comm Ctr overtime, etc. Cars are not an issue, just a publicity stunt.
