Agent openings in PALM BEACH COUNTY

I saw on myflorida that there are openings for Det. and Investigators through out the state. Anyone know of any openings in Palm Beach County?

Yes FDLE has take home cars for Agents. I believe you have to live within 30-40 miles from the region

I have had my application in with FDLE since NOV. I made it to the next round after the phone interview ( I have extensive investigations exp) and was told by insiders from FDLE that everything is on hold for 2008 ref budget cuts?
I was told they saw e-mails addressing the budget issue. With more casinos opening up in south Fl. what is the real story? Other Depts are also drying up and I dont want to sit around and wait much longer..

It's true about the budget and the hiring freeze. My understanding is FDLE is not going to hire anyone until after the Legislation session ends in Tally.

I would apply at the local level, the Sheriff's Offices retirement are state retirement so it transfer if you decide to go with FDLE in the future, that is if you get a job offer before the hiring freeze is lifted.
