View Full Version : THE ONLY WAY TO WIN

The only way to win this election (and remove Hall) is for Randle and Van Camp to join together. A couple of months ago someone had a post that was right-on the mark, saying that the more in the race the more likely that Hall will win a majority and be re-elected. Since most Santa Rosa County voters do not know what is really happening (or not happening at SRSO) many will vote for Hall because he is the incumbent. Most in the agency know that Hall does not have his hand on the pulse of the agency, nor does he care about his people (othen than those in his inner-circle). What has Hall done for the agency? Not much. What are his visions for the future? Who knows. Those are the questions a one-on-one ticket of Randle and Van Camp could be asking. Instead their supporters are attacking each other.

Won't happen. Too many ego's in the fight. They've both collected too much money and have split support too much to be able to combine forces. Besides, the argument between them as to who would be Sheriff and who'd be the Chief Deputy or Undersheriff would be hilarious.

Not to mention the fact that such an agreement is illegal.

What's illegal about one dropping out and supporting the other?

Gulf Coast Gab has started a thread on our web-site regarding the Escambia County Sheriff's race.

We would be glad to start a thread for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's race as well, if the deputies would like for us to do so. Your voices are important.

Our web site is averaging 250,000 hits a month. Your comments, as LEO's, will be very beneficial to the residents. The Gulf Coast Gab member's are advocates for the deputies and your input regarding the candidates is what we want to hear.

Again, we invite you to share your thoughts and concerns regarding the race for Sheriff in SRC. We can listen to campaign speeches but that only tells us who hired the best public relations rep. We would rather hear from our deputies so the residents can make an informed decision on election day!

Gulf Coast Gab does not have any political ties and is independently operated. Check out our site.

That is not illegal. However, a candidate promising another person an appointed position (i.e., Chief Deputy) is illegal.
