This incident with the DR should have been the END of him once and for all. Imagine if you were at the hospital with your wife that night and her doctor was handcuffed and brought in to the delivery room and then given a ticket when he was done. OR females officers you are delivering your first kid waiting for the doctor to arrive? HELL, Skip needs a firing squad not a reinstatement for using such piss poor judgement.

Skip is a good guy who made bad decisions. I consider him a friend, but he should NOT be a cop anymore. He is the reason people don't respect or trust the police. A guy like this gets his job back and the rest of us look like crap. The real problem is they fired him for the wrong thing...the tarps instead of the OB/GYN. And as for being desperate enough to hire him back, you do understand how arbitration works, right? The city didn't "hire" him back. The arbitrator sided with Skip getting his job back and that's now gospel.
