The states answer to the Fed ccw law now allows retirees to re-qualify at the agency he retired from, as you must now carry the FDLE/CJSTC card which says you in fact qualified.

Is LPD doing this with/for retirees, does anyone know? Or who might I ask?

The last time that this was approached, the city attorney denied LPD to requal any retirees due to civil liablility. Mark fought for it, but it was still denied.

Not surprised, the city attorney is afraid every Feb 2 of the liability if the Puxatawny Phil will see his shadow and someone tries to claim the city promised he would. Thanks, some things never change. I forgto just how many self inflicetd officer shootings we had at the range....whats it up to now, 0?

PCSO has qualified some of our retirees, check with their training unit.
